Shawn Stuht

Principal Stuht takes great pride in Glen H. Dysinger Sr. Elementary School being honored with the 2018 California Distinguished School Award, California Business for Education Excellence Honor Roll, and PBIS Gold Medal. Ms. Stuht is beginning her 30th year with the Centralia School District. She has made the Centralia School District her home her entire educational career, beginning in the Centralia School District in 1991. During her career, she has served Centralia School District as an Elementary School Teacher for 24 years, Teacher on Special Assignment, District Intervention Coordinator, Teacher in Charge, Administrative Designee, Student Study Team Coordinator, Assistant Principal Intern, and is now beginning her fifth year as Principal at Glen H. Dysinger Sr. Elementary School.
Ms. Stuht is passionate about Dysinger’s focus on educating the whole child, providing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), inclusive of Response to Intervention (RTI), and Positive Behavioral and Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Furthermore, Dysinger provides students the opportunity to experience a range of enrichment activities, visual and performing arts, and S.T.E.A.M. through our Peer Assistance Leadership Program (PAL), Strings, Dance, Choir, and STEAM Club.
Ms. Stuht earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Fullerton College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration at California State University Fullerton. She holds both a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and an Administrative Services Credential. Just this year, she completed her Administrative Clear Credential in Educational Administration at University of California Irvine
Ms. Stuht enjoys spending time relaxing in Rancho Mirage and is spending this year doing a large renovation project at her home in Brea. Ms. Stuht’s daughter graduated from CSUF with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cinema and Television Arts in January, 2019.
